About My Guest:
Dr. Suchi Pandey is currently Chief Medical Officer for the Stanford Blood Center and she is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Pathology at Stanford. She is a graduate of Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, the University of California-San Diego Pathology residency, and the University of California-San Francisco/Blood Centers of the Pacific Transfusion Medicine Fellowship. Suchi’s interests include donor health, Transfusion Medicine education, and immunohematology. She is on the board of the California Blood Bank Society, and she is co-chair of the Blood Center of California’s Medical Advisory Committee.

Great Episode as usual Dr.Joe and thank you so much for all you do to spread the knowledge about blood banking. the subject is very interesting and indeed complicated and that is why I wish that you can do like a series of podcasts or videos where you can discuss in more details the mitigation and testing strategies for each of the transfusion transmitted diseases. This episode was great but barely scratch the surface in my opinion.
